Securities Markets Bill

Yesterday, December 22, the Plenary of the Congress approved the Securities Markets and Investment Services Bill.

The bill will now be sent to the Senate, where it will follow the procedure of debate in committee, committee and plenary. The Senate may approve the text as it stands, amend it or approve a veto. In the event of one of the last two situations mentioned, the text would return to Congress for a final debate before its definitive approval.
