Esther joined the firm in 2018 and holds the position of Supervisor. She works in our Madrid office.

She has more than 20 years of experience in Regulatory Compliance and holds the IOC International Compliance Officer Certification. She is also a Data Protection Delegate certified in accordance with the AEPD Scheme.

She is a specialist in data protection and whistleblowing channels.

She is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.

She has extensive professional experience in regulated environments, especially within the private gaming and insurance sectors, developing different functions related to advice and regulatory compliance in different national and international companies. In addition, she is a coauthor of the book “Practical Guide of International Compliance” (Aranzadi).

She participates in the drafting of procedure manuals and particular terms and conditions of contracts and in consulting projects in different areas and performs data protection audits, GAP diagnostics and risk analysis in this area.

As for her academic background, she holds a degree in Law and Political Science and Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid. She completed her education with a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Taxation from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid and with a postgraduate degree as an expert in Data Protection from the UNED.

She speaks Spanish and English.

Outside of work she enjoys and relaxes cooking for her family and friends and loves to travel, so gastronomic tourism is always a good plan for her.
